Synatel RL2TO Resistive Level Measurement Sensor

Synatel RL2TO is a self-contained resistive level sensor housed in a 30 mm diameter threaded enclosure, designed to detect conductive liquids or free-flowing granular solids by monitoring contact between two probe rods—a main sensing rod and an earth/return rod—inside the vessel. It operates from 10–30 V DC and draws up to 100 mA, and it provides an opto-isolated transistor output for PNP/NPN PLC wiring. The sensing rods are stainless steel, with a standard length of 500 mm that can be cut on site to the required length. A built-in time delay helps prevent false signaling due to splashing or transient material movement. The RL2TO is suitable for use in both metallic and non-metallic containers, with the earth/return rod serving as the signal return in the probe circuit.
