Swagelok 3160-C4 Quick Connect

Swagelok 3160-C4 Quick Connect is a stainless-steel instrumentation quick-connect from Swagelok's QC4 family, designed for fast, repeatable connections with minimal air inclusion and spillage in instrumentation lines. The quick-connect body is 316 stainless steel. In the QC4 family you can configure stems and bodies for different connection schemes, including 6 mm tubing (example SS-QC4-B-6M0) and 1/4 in. female ISO tapered thread stems (example SS-QC4-S-4PMK2). The 1/4 in. female ISO tapered thread variant indicates compatibility with ISO tapered-thread fittings; when coupled, many configurations are rated up to 3000 psig at 70°F (206 bar at 21°C). The flow coefficient varies by configuration, typically around 0.2–0.3 (for example, QC4-S-6M0: Cv 0.3; QC4-D-6M0: Cv 0.2). Common configurations include stems without valve (S) and stems with valve (D), and 6 mm or 1/4 in. connections depending on the model. These quick connects are used in laboratory instrumentation, analytical equipment, and process sampling where repeated connections are needed and spillage is minimized.
