The Superior 856WAS8ST Ball Valve with Access Fitting is a quarter-turn refrigeration valve that provides reliable refrigerant isolation and service access in refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps, and commercial HVAC systems, featuring an integrated access port for pressure measurement, charging, evacuation, and recovery without the need for additional service tees. It has a forged brass body and a ball material of polished brass or carbon steel, with a sweat (ODS) connection as part of the WA/WAS Series, and a bi-directional flow design for non-directional installation. Rated up to 800 PSIG and from -40°F to 325°F (-40°C to 163°C), it employs PTFE packing and gaskets with a double stem seal design (no synthetic O-rings) and is UL and cUL listed for refrigeration and HVAC applications.
