Sterlco 56-T NSMD Steam Trap

The Sterlco 56-T NSMD is a model in Sterlco’s 56-T Series of temperature‑actuated, self‑powered water regulating valves, designed to modulate cooling water flow in rugged industrial equipment. It is offered in sizes from 3/8" to 2 1/2", with a brass alloy body for 3/8"–1 1/2" and cast iron for 2"–2 1/2" valves, plus a heavy‑duty direct‑acting bellows, Buna‑N seat disc, and replaceable seat beads for long service life, and 2" and 2 1/2" units feature 125# ANSI flanges. The 56‑T is a temperature‑actuated valve that is self‑powered and suitable for cooling processes using water or other fluids, with fluid pressure ratings up to 125 psi for 3/8"–1/4" sizes and up to 150 psi for 1 1/2"–2 1/2" sizes.
