Schneider Electric EIK031 Electrical Interlock Kit

Schneider Electric's EIK031 Electrical Interlock Kit is a field-installable interlock for Square D Series F safety switches, combining a 1 normally open and 1 normally closed (SPDT) contact to sequence the control circuit ahead of the main contacts. The kit is designed for switches rated 30A–60A, covering general-duty Series F as well as heavy-duty F5 and F6 models, and is sold as a field-installable interlock for compatible assemblies. Electrical ratings include 240/600 VAC and 250/600 VDC, enabling use in common AC distribution and DC control applications. By interrupting the control circuit before the main blade movement, the EIK031 prevents simultaneous energization of the auxiliary and main circuits, improving operator safety during switching in distribution panels and other Square D safety switch installations. As part of Schneider Electric's safety interlock family, the EIK031 is intended for use with compatible Series F safety switches and should be installed in accordance with the applicable installation instructions to ensure proper interlock operation.
