Square D 8903L1R Pole Adder Kit Type L Lighting Contactor

Square D 8903L1R is a single-pole right-hand pole adder kit for Type L lighting contactors, designed to extend a base 6-pole 8903L/LX assembly to eight poles when paired with its left-hand counterpart. As part of the Square D Class 8903 Type L/LX family, the L1R adds one power pole to the right side of the contactor, and is intended for 6-pole or greater configurations. The adder is rated for up to 30 A resistive loads with a maximum voltage of 600 V, making it suitable for multi-pole lighting control applications in commercial or industrial environments. For eight-pole configurations, install both the L1R and L1L adders on a 6-pole Type L/LX contactor; front mounting is supported via the contactor’s mounting bracket using a single captive screw, allowing convenient field installation. This accessory is a field-installable component of the Square D 8903 family, compatible with Type L and LX lighting contactors to flexibly expand pole counts without replacing the entire assembly.
