Spirax-Sarco TD52 Thermodynamic Steam Trap is a stainless-steel, disc-type condensate trap designed for automatic drainage of steam systems while preserving steam quality. Built to ASTM A743 Grade CA40 cast stainless steel, it delivers robust corrosion resistance in demanding, mixed steam environments. The TD52 family includes common NPT connection sizes, with 3/4" and 1" variants widely available, and units rated to service up to 600 psig (about 41 bar), making it suitable for medium- to high-pressure lines. Operating on a thermodynamic disc principle, the trap responds to condensate presence and vapor conditions to permit condensate discharge while restricting steam loss, without external power or control instrumentation.
