Spirax Sarco TD42L Thermodynamic Steam Trap Three Quarter Inch NPT

Spirax-Sarco TD42L Thermodynamic Steam Trap, 3/4 in NPT (DN 20), is a maintainable inline steam trap from the TD42L/TD42H family designed to remove condensate from steam lines while preserving steam quality. The ¾" NPT connection enables straightforward installation in standard piping, and the unit is available with a blowdown valve (BV) option for periodic maintenance and sediment purge. TD42L variants feature an integral seat design with a hardened disc and seating surfaces, and body surfaces finished by electroless nickel plating (ENP) for corrosion resistance. This family is offered in ½", ¾", and 1" screwed BSP or NPT connections, including versions with blowdown valves, and is intended for horizontal, in-line service in industrial steam systems. As a thermodynamic steam trap, it automatically discharges condensate while minimizing live steam loss, supporting efficient heat transfer and condensate management in high-pressure steam service.
