Spirax Sarco IFT14 Steam Trap

The Spirax Sarco IFT14 Ball Float Steam Trap with Integral Spiratec Sensor provides reliable condensate drainage in steam systems while enabling continuous, built-in condition monitoring. Housed in an SG iron body with stainless steel working internals, it features an integral Spiratec sensor and automatic air venting for startup stability and steady condensate removal. This ball-float trap is supplied with horizontal connections, flow from right to left (R–L), and is available in ½" and ¾" screwed BSP or NPT sizes. It can be used with Spirax Sarco Spiratec monitoring sensors, offering either a WLS1 sensor to detect waterlogging and steam leakage or an SS1 sensor for steam leakage only, and integrates with existing Spiratec systems. Standards compliance includes PED, and certification is available as a manufacturer’s Typical Test Report. The BP99/32 capsule used in FT14 is referenced for high-temperature operation (up to 150 °C superheat at 0 bar g and 50 °C superheat at 32 bar g), providing flexibility across condensate loads and backpressure conditions.
