Spirax-Sarco 54530C TD52 Thermodynamic Steam Trap

Spirax-Sarco 54530C TD52 Thermodynamic Steam Trap is a stainless-steel, in-line, horizontal condensate trap sized for 1/2" NPT connections. The TD52 model discharges condensate very near steam temperature, making it suitable for steam mains, tracer lines, and process equipment, as well as laundry and kitchen applications and outdoor installations subject to freezing. It is rated for a maximum operating pressure (PMO) of 600 psig and a maximum operating temperature of 800°F (427°C) across the operating range, with a minimum operating pressure of 3.5 psig and a maximum back pressure not exceeding 80% of the inlet pressure to maintain shutoff reliability. The 54530C designation identifies the Cool Blue cap variant of the 1/2" TD52 in a stainless-steel body with NPT connections, reflecting Spirax-Sarco’s standard thermodynamic disc-trap design that cycles to remove condensate while resisting water hammer and superheat.
