Spence J3KG613 Pneumatic Diaphragm Globe Control Valve

The Spence J3KG613 Pneumatic Diaphragm Globe Control Valve is a 1-1/2 in stainless variant of Spence’s Type J family—a compact, top-guided globe-style valve with a diaphragm actuator designed for precise modulation of steam, water, gas and other process fluids. The actuator uses stainless steel hardware and offers a maximum deadband of 0.3 psig (0.02 bar), while the valve trim is stainless steel (316) with replaceable threaded seats for easy maintenance. The packing is spring-loaded Teflon V-rings by default, with optional graphite or high-temperature packing available. Seat leakage conforms to ANSI/ISA 70-2 Class IV for metal seats and Class VI for PTFE soft seats. End connections for Type J valves cover ½ to 2 in sizes and can be threaded or flanged depending on configuration. Type J can be configured for air-to-close or air-to-open operation and is suitable for steam, water, gas and general process service, providing a flow-to-open control characteristic with broad flow capacity.
