Spectrum Illumination VLDM350-2 LED Driver Module

The Spectrum Illumination VLDM350/2 LED Driver Module is a DIN-rail mounted current-regulating driver designed for Spectrum’s Monster Light Series. It accepts a 24 VDC power input and provides a regulated current to compatible Monster Light LEDs, enabling both continuous operation and timing-critical strobe use. The VLDM350/2 features adjustable light intensity via a manual potentiometer, allowing on-site tuning without software. It offers dual strobe inputs (PNP and NPN) with a 3 microsecond response time, and the strobe inputs are pulse-width controlled to stay on for the length of the input pulse. When paired with Spectrum’s Monster Brain Controller (MBC), the VLDM350/2 can be configured to specify pulse counts, delays, and durations, with connections made through a DIN-rail bus connector for easy integration. This driver module is part of Spectrum Illumination’s VLDM family, which includes VLDM350/1, VLDM350/2, and VLDM350/3 variants, all designed to simplify brightness control for high-speed machine vision lighting setups.
