Spectrum Illumination VLDM2800 LED Lighting Module

VLDM2800 Variable LED Driver Module is a DIN-rail mounted, current-regulating driver designed for Spectrum Illumination's Monster Light Series. It accepts 24V DC input and supports continuous or pulsed operation for compatible LED heads, with a built‑in potentiometer for manual brightness adjustment. The module provides both PNP and NPN strobe inputs with a rapid 3 microsecond response time, enabling precise triggering of short, repeatable light pulses aligned to imaging sequences. For automated control, the VLDM2800 can be integrated with Spectrum Illumination's Monster Brain Controller (MBC) via a DIN rail bus connector to program pulse count, delay, and duration. As part of the VLDM family, this driver shares proven design and interoperability with Spectrum Illumination’s Monster Light products, delivering reliable, repeatable current-regulated illumination in 24V systems for machine-vision and inspection applications.
