The Spectrum Controls 1746sc-IA8I is an eight-channel isolated digital input module designed for the Allen‑Bradley SLC 500 backplane. Each of its eight inputs is galvanically isolated from the controller backplane, enabling safe connection of sensors and switches in mixed-voltage environments.

Rated for 100/120V operation per channel, the 1746sc-IA8I accepts typical industrial discrete signals and presents eight discrete inputs to the SLC 500 CPU through Spectrum Controls' 1746-series I/O architecture. The module is a drop-in replacement in Spectrum Controls' 1746sc family and fits into standard SLC 500 chassis slots, maintaining the familiar AB module form factor.
