SODICK WRS-01B Power Drive

SODICK WRS-01B Power Drive is a high-performance electrical discharge power supply unit designed for wire-cut EDM applications. As part of Sodick’s Electrical Discharge Power Unit lineup, the WRS-01B delivers controlled high-energy pulses for wire-cut EDM. The TM circuit can generate a peak current of 1000A or higher within 1 microsecond without variation, supporting high-speed material removal with stable energy delivery. Barrel-free effect control improves straightness in early passes, TMP control enhances surface finish and corner shape accuracy in subsequent passes, and the digital-PIKA-W circuit provides high-frequency pulsing for refined finishing. These features are integrated into Sodick's wire-cut discharge machining technology to provide consistent results in mold making and precision machining.
