SMC Corporation ZK2-ZSVA-A Digital Pressure Switch

The SMC ZK2-ZSVA-A Digital Pressure Switch is a vacuum-assembly energy-saving control device that automatically cuts supply air when the desired vacuum is reached, dramatically reducing air consumption by up to 90%. Designed for use with ZK2 ejector systems and vacuum pump configurations, it supports a pressure range of -100 to 100 kPa and uses a digital pressure switch with energy-saving functionality to drive a single open-collector output for a normally closed supply valve (Valve Type K). It operates on 12–24 VDC and provides an NPN (open-collector) output; a remote sensor unit option is available with a unit-switching function, while the standard configuration does not include a lead wire with connector. The ZK2-ZSVA-A is a compact, single-unit module with a listed volume of 88 cm³ and mass of 81 g (about 28% smaller and 59% lighter than prior ZK2 variants), contributing to easier integration in tight assemblies. When used with ejectors or vacuum pumps, it not only trims energy use during vacuum hold but also supports improved suction performance, with suction flow reportedly increasing by up to ~20% and overall air consumption reduced across the system, delivering cleaner, more efficient vacuum operation.
