SMC's VFS2400-5FZ is a five-port, pilot-operated pneumatic solenoid valve from the VFS2000 family, featuring metal seals and a plug-in body for compact installation. It uses an internal pilot valve and a 24 V DC coil to deliver precise actuation across a three-position exhaust-center function, making it suitable for controlled actuation of pneumatic cylinders in automation lines and packaging equipment. The port connections are Rc-threaded 1/4 in (port size 02), with manifold compatibility to VV5FS1–VV5FS5 options for scalable valve banks. An optional Z variant adds a diagnostic indicator lamp and a surge-protection circuit to enhance visibility and transient protection in demanding environments.
