SMC CDQ2B20-5DC Double Acting Pneumatic Cylinder

SMC CDQ2B20-5DC is a 20 mm bore, 5 mm stroke double-acting pneumatic cylinder designed for compact automation tasks. It uses Mounting Style B through-hole (standard) and includes a built-in magnet for piston position sensing. Porting is Rc/M-thread, and the body can be ordered with a rubber bumper (Body option C) for quieter operation and reduced impact. The cylinder ships without an auto switch, but its side-mounting groove (Φ12–Φ25) on two sides accepts compatible auto switches when added. As part of SMC's CQ2/CDQ2 compact cylinder family, it provides short-throw actuation suitable for tight spaces and is commonly used for small linear motions in equipment such as pick-and-place assemblies, clamping stations, and packaging lines, where a compact, magnet-equipped cylinder with easy sensor integration can simplify automation design.
