Sixnet RM-8INS-U RemoteTrak Input Module With Base

Sixnet's RM-8INS-U RemoteTrak Input Module with Base provides eight isolated instrumentation analog inputs for the RemoteTRAK I/O system, delivering 16‑bit measurements across thermocouple, voltage, and 4–20 mA signals. Each of the eight channels supports thermocouple types J, K, E, R, T, B, C, N, and S, a voltage range from 62 mV to 10 V, and a 4–20 mA current input with an input impedance of 100 Ω for 4–20 mA (voltage drop of about 2 V at 20 mA) and 200 kΩ for the other ranges. The module uses two input terminals per channel with channel‑to‑channel isolation and ships with precision 100 Ω current shunts housed in the hinged wiring base, including a spare shunt for field replacement if a shunt opens due to overload. It offers full‑scale accuracy of ±0.02% at 20 °C and features high noise rejection with common‑mode and differential mode performance (CMRR at 50/60 Hz: 140 dB; DMRR at 50/60 Hz: 66 dB). The package includes a wiring base and, as part of the RemoteTRAK ecosystem, supports hot‑swap of modules with the power on via its smart base design, making maintenance and expansion straightforward within SIXNET I/O Tool Kit configurations for SCADA or PLC applications.
