Sioux Chief 6961010MFS Ice Maker Outlet Box Assembly is a wall‑mounted OxBox ice maker outlet box from the 696 series designed for residential and commercial plumbing runs to feed an ice‑maker line. The unit accepts a 1/2 in inlet and provides a 1/4 in compression outlet for the ice‑maker line, and it ships with a quarter‑turn valve featuring a water hammer arrester to dampen pressure surges. The valve body is forged brass with a brass valve shank, while the arrester uses a 304SS barrel with EPDM O‑rings, all housed in an ABS box that can be mounted with top or bottom supply connections. Tamper‑resistant test caps accompany the valve outlets, and the assembly can be ordered with or without a frame depending on your kit, supporting flexible installation in stud bays. The OxBox is rated up to 250 psi and 250°F and is designed in accordance with IAPMO PS 54‑2021a, making it suitable for copper or PEX piping via standard fittings for typical appliance feeds.
