Simplex 4902-9706 Square 70VRMS Fire Alarm Speaker

Simplex 4902-9706 TrueAlert square 70.7 VRMS fire alarm speaker is a non-addressable, two-wire notification appliance designed for 70.7 VRMS NAC signaling on 70V distributed fire alarm systems. It mounts to a standard 4-inch square back box and is part of the 4902 TrueAlert family; the white version is the square enclosure designed for wall installation, with red (4902-9716) and white (4902-9717) wall-mount variants and a ceiling-mount model (4902-9721) available in the same family. The unit supports multi-tap power deliveries at 1/4 W, 1/2 W, 1 W, and 2 W, and can be configured for 25 VRMS or 70.7 VRMS operation, enabling compatibility with different NAC budgets. Optional mounting accessories include skirt adapters (4905-9941 red, 4905-9942 white) and adapter plates (4905-9931) for retrofit or new-work installations. As a two-wire, non-addressable appliance, it connects to the Simplex NAC (such as the 4100/4003 panels) and uses correct polarity on its SPKR terminals; the cover is removable via a snap-release mechanism for service.
