The Signode AL-12 Double Notch Combination Tool is a manual seal-feed strapping tool for 1/2" steel strap that combines tensioning, sealing, and cutting in a single operation. It is designed for Signode Apex steel strap, 12.7 mm wide and 0.017–0.020" thick (0.43–0.51 mm), and uses 12 AL double-notch seals with a double-notch joint. Weighing 8 lb (3.6 kg), it features a seals magazine that can be filled quickly to keep work flowing, making it suitable for light- to medium-duty steel strapping tasks in manufacturing, warehousing, and construction environments where 1/2" strap is standard.
