Sigma MPS2 Proximity Switches Fire Alarm System

Sigma Maglock MPS2 proximity switch is a magnetically actuated proximity switch housed in a 316L stainless steel rectangular enclosure designed for harsh environments and hazardous locations in fire alarm and access-control interfaces. The MPS2 (part number 565050) uses a Form C (SPCO/SPDT) contact arrangement with rhodium contacts (tungsten optional) and a maximum switching current of 830 mA, and it accepts up to 250 V AC/DC with PVC cable leads. It carries IP66, IP67 and IP68 ratings and operates from -20 °C to +80 °C (-4 °F to +176 °F), making it suitable for extreme temperature conditions; hazardous location approvals include IECEx, ATEX, and UKEx Ex ia, with gas group IIC and dust group IIIC and a T6 rating.
