Siemens ZN-31U Dual Zone Module

Siemens ZN-31U Dual Contact Zone Module is a System 3 input module that provides two detector-line circuits for contact-type devices such as manual stations, waterflow switches, thermal detectors, or relay contacts. Each circuit includes Class B supervision and its own red Alarm LED and yellow Trouble LED; the module also offers a current-limited output signal in Alarm to drive a supplementary alarm relay module or annunciator. Alarms and signaling lamps reset from the System 3 fire alarm control panel, ensuring centralized control. The unit is bus-connected within the enclosure, with JA-24 (24 in) bus connector cables as needed; when the ZN-31U is the last module in the chain, install a JS-30 (30 in) or JS-64 (64 in) bus connector assembly from the unused receptacle to terminal 41 of the CP-35 control panel to complete the supervision circuit. The ZN-31U is UL 864 9th Edition Listed and FM Approved for conventional fire-safety applications in System 3 panels.
