Siemens ZIC-8B Indicating Card

The Siemens ZIC-8B Zone Indicating Card is an eight-output module that provides fully supervised Class B notification-appliance circuits for Cerberus PRO Modular, Desigo Fire Safety Modular, and FireFinder XLS systems. The eight outputs are Class B-type (Style Y) channels for driving horns, strobes, bells, and other audible/visual notification devices, and the card can be paired with a ZIC-2C to enable two-channel audio. An on-board microprocessor supports degraded operation of the notification circuits and automatic synchronization across multiple ZIC-8B cards within the FireFinder-XLS/Desigo/Cerberus PRO family. Zone configurations are programmed in the Zeus tool and can be managed for independent usage per zone, controllable automatically by program logic or manually via the PMI/PMI-2/PMI-3 (XLS) or FCM modules.
