Siemens STRPN120 1-Pole Molded Case Circuit Breaker

Siemens STRPN120 is a 1-pole shunt-trip accessory for VL-series molded-case circuit breakers, designed to provide an external trip signal by energizing a 110–127 VAC coil (nominally 120 VAC) to rapidly open the breaker. It mounts in the right-hand pocket of compatible VL-frame breakers and is intended for use with frames such as NMG, HMG, LMG, NNG, HNG, LNG, NPG, LPG, and HPG; when installed on these frames, the suffix -RN denotes the integrated shunt-trip option. This STRPN120 device enhances protective control in industrial electrical systems, enabling remote or automatic shutdown for safety interlock configurations, motor-control centers, and other applications where a dedicated external trip is required while preserving the base overcurrent protection of the molded-case breaker.
