Siemens AG 3VE3000-8LA00 Manual Motor Starter

Siemens AG 3VE3000-8LA00 Manual Motor Starter is a compact hand-operated device used to start and stop small motors, rated for 8.0 to 12.5 A. Carrying the exact model designation 3VE3000-8LA00, it belongs to Siemens' line of manual motor starters designed for integration in industrial control panels and motor circuits where local manual control is required. The 8.0–12.5 A rating specifies the current range within which the starter is intended to operate continuously, guiding users to pair it with motors whose running current falls within that interval. This model's designation indicates it is a 3VE3000-series unit, a family of solutions that provide straightforward manual control for circuit protection and motor isolation in small to medium duty applications. In practice, technicians select a unit like this to enable direct manual engagement of a motor from a control panel, facilitating maintenance, testing, or local operation without relying on powered control signals. The 3VE3000-8LA00 is compatible with standard electrical installations that require a dedicated manual control element within the specified current band, and it serves as a practical, non-electronic control point in a broader motor control scheme.
