Siemens 3RU2116-1EC0 is a 3-pole thermal overload relay in the S00 frame size designed for motor protection when mounted on Siemens contactors. It handles a main current range of 2.8 to 4.0 A and includes NC and NO auxiliary contacts, with spring-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary circuits for secure wiring. The unit mounts directly to the contactor (contactor mounting) and offers a Manual-Automatic-Reset option to restore operation after an overload. Built for compact control panels, it withstands ambient temperatures from -40 to +70 °C, features front IP20 protection, and delivers 6 kV impulse voltage resistance, with installation altitude up to 2,000 meters and shock resistance of 8 g / 11 ms.
