Siemens SITRANS Probe LU 7ML52211BA11 Ultrasonic level transmitter delivers continuous, non-contact measurement of liquids in open tanks, vessels, and simple process lines by emitting ultrasonic pulses and calculating level from echo time. With a range up to 12 meters (40 feet), it accommodates large storage tanks while keeping installation non-intrusive. The device is designed for level, volume, and flow monitoring of liquids in open channels and storage vessels, making it suitable for applications such as chemical storage tanks, basins, and basic process vessels where a non-contact sensor is preferred. The enclosure is Plastic (PBT) with two gland entries for field wiring, and standard process connections are offered in common configurations to fit typical industrial piping schemes. The transducer is PVDF copolymer, providing robust chemical resistance for many liquids and slurries.
