Siemens SINAMICS PM240-2 Power Module, model 6SL3210-1PE14-3UL1, is a standalone PM240-2 power stage intended for use with the SINAMICS G120 drive family. It accepts three-phase input from 380 to 480 V AC (plus 10% / minus 10%), operates at 47–63 Hz, and includes an integrated braking chopper with unfiltered output. The module provides two overload ratings for motor sizing: a high overload of 1.1 kW at 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds; and a low overload of 1.5 kW at 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds, enabling robust performance across demanding start/stop cycles. Its enclosure offers IP20 protection, and its physical dimensions are 196 mm (H) × 73 mm (W) × 165 mm (D). The unit is sold without a Control Unit or operating unit, and is released for CU firmware version V4.6, aligning with Siemens’ current G120 family deployments. With the PM240-2 power module, the G120 drive can efficiently convert AC input to controlled DC bus power for three-phase motors in industrial applications, such as conveyors, pumps, and fans, delivering reliable torque control at 380–480 V while relying on an external control unit for sequencing and automation.
