Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-5BA3 is the SINAMICS S120 Sensor Module (SMC20) in a cabinet-mounted, 30 mm wide form factor, designed to evaluate encoder feedback for SINAMICS drives. It supports both SIN/COS incremental encoders (1 Vpp) and Endat absolute encoders, and is intended for use without a Drive-CliQ cable. The module is powered from a 24 V DC supply (maximum), while the onboard encoder interface utilizes a 5 V DC sensor supply capable of up to 0.35 A. This SMC20 sensor module provides a test-and-validate path between encoder signals and the SINAMICS S120 control system, enabling reliable commissioning and troubleshooting of encoder interfaces.
