Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-5BA3 is the SINAMICS S120 Sensor Module (SMC20), a cabinet-mounted board designed to evaluate and interface encoder signals for SINAMICS S120 drives. It supports SIN/COS 1 Vpp incremental encoders and absolute encoders via EnDat interfaces, and can also handle SSI encoders with SIN/COS 1 Vpp incremental signals, all without a Drive-CLIQ cable. With a compact 30 mm width, the SMC20 module provides encoder power and supports the maximum encoder frequency within the SINAMICS S120 system, enabling flexible testing and integration of multiple encoder types.
