Siemens 6SE7090-0XX84-0AB0 CUVC Vector Control Unit provides both closed‑loop and open‑loop vector control for SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES systems, enabling precise motor performance through real‑time feedback and advanced drive algorithms. The module includes a RS232/RS485 serial interface for PC or OP1S use and an additional USS bus RS485 interface for fieldbus connections, plus a dedicated control terminal strip for HTL unipolar encoder feedback and a motor temperature sensor (PTC/KTY84). It also ships with two terminal strips containing digital and analog I/O to monitor and control auxiliary signals, and runs firmware version 3.4 to support contemporary vector‑control capabilities within the Masterdrives family.
