Siemens 6DR4004-8G SIA module is a retrofit slot-type initiator unit for the SIPART PS2 electropneumatic positioner, enabling electronic fault signaling and dual-limit sensing without replacing the PS2 housing. It provides three signal paths via terminal pairs: 31/32 for Fault, 41/42 for Limit A1, and 51/52 for Limit A2, giving clear, discrete feedback to the control system for precise electropneumatic operation. This module is not explosion-proof (non-Ex) and is specifically marketed as a retrofit SIA module with one fault output for the SIPART PS2, designed to integrate with existing installations that use slot-type initiators.
