SICK ZTE18-4AB4A2 Photoelectric Sensor

SICK ZTE18-4AB4A2 SimpleSense hybrid photoelectric sensor is a compact, M18-threaded diffuse-reflective detector in a blue housing, part of SICK's Z18 Simple Sense family, designed for straightforward presence sensing on production lines with versatile mounting via M18 head/base and a compact 13.6 x 44.2 x 33.3 mm footprint. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC, offers two switching outputs in a push-pull arrangement (PNP/NPN) with optional light or dark switching, emits via PinPoint LED at 625 nm and produces a defined light spot of approximately Ø25 mm at 1 m, enabling predictable sensing across typical packaging and part-detection tasks. Sensing ranges reach up to 700 mm for high-reflectivity targets and about 520 mm for black/low-reflectivity surfaces, with an IP67-rated enclosure to withstand dust and immersion up to a meter in water jets, plus a 4-pin M12 connector for simple field wiring on conveyors, fixtures, and other automation setups.
