The SICK WTB27-3P1211 is a compact, background-suppressed photoelectric sensor with a rectangular housing measuring 24.6 mm wide by 80.6 mm high by 54 mm deep, designed for easy mounting on automation lines. It detects objects from 100 mm up to 1,600 mm using infrared light at 880 nm, with a 25 mm light spot at 800 mm. Powered from 10 to 30 V DC and drawing about 40 mA, it provides a PNP switching output (short-circuit current limit up to 8 A) and can be adjusted via a potentiometer with a 90% remission reference target (DIN 5033). The device is rated for long life, approximately 100,000 hours at 25°C.
