The SICK WT30-12 is a compact, rectangular photoelectric proximity sensor designed for reliable presence/absence detection on conveyors and packaging lines. It offers a 15–100 mm sensing range with background suppression for stable detection on cluttered backgrounds, and uses an IR emitter/receiver. Electrical operation is 10–30 V DC with configurable PNP/NPN outputs suitable for easy integration into common control schematics. The housing measures 36 × 85 × 72 mm in glass-fibre reinforced plastic, making it compact enough for tight mounting; typical applications include inline quality checks on packaging lines, picking and placement, and other automation tasks.
