The SICK WLG4S-3P3232H is a compact, stainless steel retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from SICK’s W4 family, designed for EHEDG-compliant hygienic environments and washdown zones. It detects transparent objects and other targets over a nominal range of 0 to 3 m, with a maximum sensing distance up to 5 m when used with the PL80A reflector. The sensor uses a PinPoint LED at 650 nm (visible red) and delivers a light spot around 45 mm in diameter at 1.5 m, with a single teach-in button and AutoAdapt for straightforward setup. It is typically powered from 10 to 30 V DC, and SICK highlights long-term reliability with an MTTFD of about 1,215 years and an expected service life of roughly 100,000 hours at 25 °C.
