SICK WL23-2P2430P02 Compact Photoelectric Sensor

The SICK WL23-2P2430P02 is a compact retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from the W23-2 family, designed for tight spaces and reliable part-detection. It uses a dual-lens, rectangular housing (24.6 mm W x 80.6 mm H x 54 mm D) and emits visible red light at 660 nm, producing a light spot about Ø45 mm at 2.7 m with a 1.5° dispersion. The sensor operates on 10–30 V DC and draws roughly 35 mA, with PNP complementary light/dark switching and a 4-pin M12 connector; the kit includes the PL40A reflector (and BEF-WN-W23 mounting accessory). Standard sensing range is approximately 0.3–7 m, with a maximum range listing of 0.1–10 m in reflector-enabled configurations.
