WL160-P440 is a compact retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from SICK that detects reflective targets up to 3 m away using a visible red 680 nm LED. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP output via a 4-pin M8 connector, with light/dark switching selectable by a rotary switch. The sensor measures 11 x 38 x 38 mm, uses an ABS plastic housing, and draws about 30 mA while operating from −25 °C to +55 °C. When paired with the PL80A reflector, it offers a response time of ≤0.9 ms, making it suitable for fast inline detection in automation tasks.
