SICK WL12G-3O2431 Photoelectric Sensor 30V DC

The SICK WL12G-3O2431 is a compact retroreflective photoelectric sensor from the W12G family that detects objects by emitting a visible red beam (640 nm) and using a PL80A reflector, enabling reliable sensing up to 4 meters. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC with a typical current draw of 30 mA and provides a PNP output rated for up to 100 mA, with a fast response time ≤ 330 μs and a switching frequency up to 1,500 Hz; switching mode can be set to light or dark via an L/D control cable. The sensor’s rectangular metal housing (15.6 mm W × 48.5 mm H × 42 mm D) is zinc die-cast with a PMMA front screen, mounted via an M12 4-pin connector, and is rated IP66, IP67, and IP69K for harsh environments. Supplied with two BEF-KH-W12 clamps (including screws) and the PL80A reflector, it is designed for rugged use from -40 °C to +60 °C and weighs about 120 g; the part number is 1041457, and it offers an average service life of 100,000 h at +25 °C with an MTTF of approximately 823 years.
