SICK WL100L-F2131 Photoelectric Sensor
SICK WL100L-F2131 Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
The SICK WL100L-F2131 is a compact W100 Laser photoelectric sensor that operates as a retro-reflective receiver, distinguishing small or fast-moving objects by detecting their reflection from a dedicated reflector. It covers a sensing range of 0.08 m to 10 m and uses a visible red laser at 650 nm. The device is powered from 10 to 30 V DC and provides a PNP output, suitable for sourcing current to a load. Its rectangular housing measures 11 mm wide, 31 mm high, and 20 mm deep, and it uses an M8 3-pin connector for wiring; adjustment is via a 270° potentiometer to set threshold. The WL100L-F2131 ships with a P250F reflector and is designed for retro-reflective installations, including detecting small parts or objects moving at high speeds. The laser source offers an estimated average service life of about 50,000 hours at 25°C, contributing to long-term reliability in production lines. This sensor is well-suited for compact automation tasks such as packaging, sorting, and conveyor monitoring where tight spaces and precise short-to-mid-range detection are required.
