SICK WE9-2P430 Photoelectric Sensor

The SICK WS/WE9-2P430 is a compact through-beam photoelectric sensor (part 1019261) housed in a 12 mm x 40 mm x 22 mm ABS case with IP69K protection for wash-down environments. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC and draws about 30 mA without load, providing a PNP switching output and support for light/dark triggering with a response time ≤ 2.5 ms. The sensor uses a visible red LED light source and offers a sensing range of 0 to 5 m (up to 7 m maximum in certain configurations). A 4-pin M12 connector enables simple wiring, and the −40 °C to +60 °C operating range (−40 °C to +75 °C storage) supports reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions. Designed for rugged industrial use, it interfaces with standard automation controllers that accept PNP outputs for straightforward integration into conveyor, packaging, and other automation tasks.
