SICK WE4-3F3130 Photoelectric Sensor
SICK WE4-3F3130 Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
The SICK WE4-3F3130 is a through-beam photoelectric receiver that works with the matching WS4-3D3130 emitter to form a beam-based object-detection pair used in conveyors, packaging lines, and other automation applications. In standard installations, the emitter and receiver create a fixed beam gap of up to 3.5 meters and generate a digital signal when the beam is interrupted, enabling reliable presence/absence detection and timing control in manufacturing processes. The system uses visible red light at about 650 nm, a common wavelength for SICK through-beam sensors, which helps maintain consistent operation in typical factory ambient light conditions. As the receiver in the WE4-3F3130/WS4-3D3130 configuration, it is designed to be mounted opposite its emitter partner to provide a simple, rugged solution for monitoring parts, openings, or access points along a production line. This combination is well-suited for applications such as verifying part presence on a conveyor, detecting object passage through a photoelectric gate, and providing fast, clean signaling for downstream automation logic.
