SICK VTE18-3F2440 Photoelectric Sensor

SICK VTE18-3F2440 is a cylindrical M18 photoelectric sensor from the V18 family, designed for compact sensing on automation lines. It uses an energetic detection principle with a LED light source, and it provides a PNP output through a 4-pin M12 connector for straightforward integration into automation circuits. The sensor runs on a 10–30 V DC supply and features a 75 mm long housing with an 18 mm diameter (M18 × 1 thread) and a radial optical axis, enabling mounting in tight spaces. It offers potentiometer-based adjustment of the switching threshold and delivers a sensing range up to 200 mm, making it suitable for detecting parts or presence on conveyors, packaging lines, or other automated processes where reliable, contactless sensing is required.
