SICK VSPM-6B2113 Machine Vision Inspection Camera
SICK VSPM-6B2113 Machine Vision Inspection Camera
Description:
The SICK VSPM-6B2113 Inspector 2D machine vision camera is a compact grayscale imaging sensor designed for inline inspection, measuring 640 × 480 pixels (0.3 MP) at up to 40 frames per second to support precise part verification, counting, OCR, and pattern recognition. Housed in aluminum with IP67 protection, it offers rugged reliability in industrial environments, weighing 350 g and measuring 100 mm × 53 mm × 38 mm (without a front window). It runs on 24 V DC (±20%), drawing up to 450 mA under load, and ships with an M12-mount lens option (lens not included) for flexible imaging configurations. The device includes integrated white LED illumination (spectral range ≈ 400–750 nm; LED Class 1 risk group per IEC 62471) with a working distance range of about 50 to 200 mm when paired with an appropriate lens, and the illumination field of view depends on the chosen optics. Sensor calibration supports distortion and perspective correction with results expressed in millimeters, and robot-coordinate alignment facilitates seamless automation integration. The VSPM-6B2113 is part of the Inspector PIM60 Base family and provides offline support via emulators for development and testing. On-board vision tools cover 2D snapshot, object finding, pixel and edge counters, pattern and blob detection, polygon and circle analyses, distance and angle measurements, and maximum-finding capabilities, enabling applications from dimensional metrology to position-based inspections. The device offers up to 64 inspections and 32 reference objects, with manual focal adjustment and no front window included by default, ensuring a compact footprint and straightforward integration into space-constrained lines.
