SICK UE410-8DI3 Safety Relay Expansion Module

The SICK UE410-8DI3 Safety Relay Expansion Module is an eight-channel input extension for the Flexi Classic UE410 safety controller family. DIN-rail mounted and powered from 24 V DC, it provides eight safe digital inputs that interface with an upstream UE410-MU or UE410-XU safety controller to expand the system's safety I/O. A 9-position rotary switch on the module selects which safety components are connected and how their inputs are interpreted, enabling OR, AND, or BYPASS logic to be applied by the master controller when communicating with the UE410 pair. The unit is designed to scale safety architectures by adding input capacity without introducing separate relays, which simplifies wiring, reduces panel space, and enhances fault detection across safety-critical operations.
