The KT5W-2N1116 is a compact SICK contrast sensor that uses RGB LED illumination to detect subtle color and brightness differences on targets at up to 10 mm. It comes in a rectangular 30.4 mm × 53 mm × 80 mm housing with a static two‑point teach‑in method and a dedicated teach‑in button, while illumination can emanate from both the long and short sides and is exchangeable. The device projects a 1.2 mm × 4.2 mm light spot with a vertical emission, enabling precise contrast detection on labels, marks, and color‑coded surfaces.
