SICK NTL6-B11 Photoelectric Sensor
SICK NTL6-B11 Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
The SICK NTL6-B11 is a rugged contrast photoelectric sensor in a zinc-diecast, rectangular housing (80 mm x 30.4 mm x 64 mm) that operates from 10 to 30 V DC. It provides both PNP and NPN switching outputs and an analog output range of 0.15 to 6 V, with a switching frequency up to 10 kHz and a response time greater than 50 μs. The unit supports light/dark switching via a user-accessible potentiometer, uses red visible light at 660 nm and infrared at 880 nm, and offers two interchangeable emission surfaces (wide and narrow) for different mounting needs. Operating conditions include 0 to 50°C ambient temperature, IP67 enclosure rating, supply ripple ≤ 5 V, current consumption under 80 mA, and a 2 m cable; sensing distance depends on the connected fiber optic cable, with an expected service life around 10,000 hours at 25°C.
