SICK NT6-03018 Contrast Sensor

SICK NT6-03018 (part number 1006367) is a compact 9 mm-range contrast sensor from SICK designed for non-contact detection of contrast marks within a small 80 × 30.4 × 64 mm housing. It uses a visible LED light source and offers green or red illumination; green yields a spot about 1.5 × 5 mm, red about 1.5 × 4 mm, with a sensing distance up to 9 mm (±2 mm). The device operates on 10–30 V DC with ripple ≤ 5 Vpp, draws < 80 mA, and provides both a switching output and an analog output (0.15–6 V) with a maximum load of 200 mA and a switching frequency up to 10 kHz. Adjustment is via a potentiometer, and the NT6-03018 is rated for an average service life of around 10,000 hours at 25°C.
